MAJGT Overview
Who we are...
The Mid-American Junior Golf Tour (MAJGT) is designed for exceptionally talented junior golfers throughout the Midwest ages 8 - 18. The MAJGT is nationally recognized by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard and American Junior Golf Association with all of its events providing national exposure.
Through communication with both current and potential members, the IJGA found that a strong demand exists for a series of events contested throughout the Midwest – events designed specifically for the elite player. The Mid-American Junior Golf Tour, presented by the IJGA, is a direct result of the culmination of years of research and feedback gathered from Midwestern facilities, professionals, coaches, junior golfers and their families.
What we do...
While providing a national spotlight for the very best players in the Midwest to display their skills, the MAJGT also provides players and their families national exposure to the collegiate golf experience.
Through four event formats, junior golfers are eligible to compete in nationally recognized events designed specifically for certain age divisions.

Who we are designed for...
The MAJGT is designed to play host to the finest players in the nation, with the competition levels being among the highest offered in the Midwest. To ensure top-level fields and exceptional levels of competition, it is required that MAJGT tournament participants are able to perform at an elite level.
The strength of the MAJGT depends primarily on 3 factors: (1) the quality of MAJGT fields, (2) the quality of venues, and (3) the proper administration of each event. Excellent field strength not only benefits all players but also the MAJGT itself as it works to increase national recognition, attract members, and encourage college coaches to utilize the MAJGT as a main recruiting source.
