TOUR EVENTS (AGE 12-18)
Spring/Fall Events
Southern Illinois Shoot-Out, Windy City Challenge, Prairie State Preview, PrairieView Open, The Battle at Lake Michigan, and The Fall Junior Amateur.
These Tour events are 36-hole weekend event hosted during the spring and fall. The event is designed for Tour Members ages 12-18 allowing all boys and girls to showcase their talent in an overall boy and girls contest (12-18). These popular weekend events feature some of the Midwest’s best courses including the French Lick Resort’s Donald Ross course. The field sizes are slightly smaller than those of a classic or invitational so be sure to register quickly for these AJGA and Junior Golf Scoreboard nationally recognized events.
Summer Classics
The Challenge at Aldeen, Ruffled Feathers Classic, The Second City Classic, Hoosier Classic, Mistwood Classic, Badgerland Classic, and Hawkeye Classic.
The nationally recognized summer classics are designed for Tour Members ages 12-18. These tour events will allow all boys and girls to showcase their talent in an elite overall boy and girls contest (age 12-18). While competing for All-Midwest Team points, players will earn national recognition through the AJGA and Junior Golf Scoreboard in these collegiate style events.
Invitationals
Memorial Day Invitational, Purdue Invitational, and Great Lakes Invitational.
The MAJGT Invitational’s are 54-Hole, No Cut, Major Championship that offers the toughest of challenges for the “Best in the Midwest”. Players will compete in an overall Boys and Girls 12-18 Division. A portion of the field is reserved for All-Midwest Team members and former champions. The remainder of the field is filled first come, first served for MAJGT members. Be sure to guarantee your spot by signing up early for these memorable events.
The MAJGT Invitationals offer the highest levels of AJGA national recognition throughout the region.
