ALL-EXEMPT CATEGORIES
BOYS
Each IJGA Member eligible for the Tournament Players’ Series Events has earned a position on the ALL-EXEMPT PRIORITY RANKING system that will be used to determine tournament fields.
Players must be current season playing members to be eligible. Players are eligible up until their 19th birthday.
Below is a list and description of the qualifying categories.
IJGA
- Top 50 Finishers and ties from the past season IJGA Junior and Senior Player of the Year standings.
- Top 50 Finishers and ties from the past season Illinois State Junior Amateur Championship.
- Top 10 and ties from each of last season’s TPS events.
- Top 10 and ties from the past season’s Medinah Country Junior Shriners Invitational.
- Top 8 Finishers and ties from the past season CDGA Junior Amateur.
- Top 5 Finishers and ties from the past season Player of the Year Championship - Junior and Senior Boys.
- Top 4 Finishers from the past season IJGA DuPage County Junior Classic.
- Top 3 Finishers from all the past season’s IJGA Opens.
- Top 3 Finisher from the past season IJGA Sizzler.
- Match Play Qualifiers (32) from the past season Chick Evans Junior Amateur Championship.
- Winner of an IJGA Regional event from last season.
- Winner of an IJGA Regional event from the current season.
OUTSIDE EVENTS
- Top 10 Finishers and ties from the past season IHSA Class A, AA, & AAA State Championships.
- Top 10 Finishers from the past season’s USGA Junior Amateur - Illinois Qualifier.
- Top 10 Finishers from the past season’s PGA Westfield Junior - Illinois Qualifier.
YDP
- Top 5 Finishers and ties from the past season IJGA YDP Player of the Year Point standings.
- Top 3 Finishers and ties from the past season Dave Rowlands - YDP TOC, 12-13 Division.
OTHER
- Top 50 National Junior Golf Scoreboard - Illinois Rankings as of January 1st of the current season.

- Top 5 and ties from each of last season’s TPS events.
- Top 5 and ties from the past season’s Medinah Country Junior Shriners Invitational.
- Top 5 Finishers and ties from the past season CDGA Junior Amateur.
- Top 2 Finisher from the past season IJGA Sizzler.
- Top 2 Finishers from the past season IJGA DuPage County Junior Classic.
- Top 2 Finishers from all the past season’s IJGA Opens (excluding Maggie Rogers).
- Match Play Qualifiers (16) from the past season IJGA Girls Match Play Championship.
