1:00PM (7/12/17): Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding today. As we previously mentioned, play of Round 1 was suspended today due to inclement weather and the course being unplayable due to the amount of water on the golf course. Please see below for the schedule of events for the remainder of the event. Several factors were considered when determining this schedule (Host facility tee sheet Schedule on Friday, etc.) and every attempt was made to have as many juniors complete as many holes as possible in this nationally recognized Championship. However, unfortunately the Boys division will be shortened to a 36 hole event with a cut to the Top 60 and ties after Round 1 is completed tomorrow. The girls division will be shortened to an 18 hole event tomorrow. AJGA PBE and JGS rankings will still be honored with the shortened events.
Thursday
6:00 AM- Registration Opens (all players must check in again at registration)
6:30 AM- Range Opens
7:10 AM- Player meeting on putting green
7:30 AM- Round 1 Resumes- All players that teed off today will return to where they were on the course today when play was suspended to resume play and the groups that were waiting to tee off at their original 9:30 AM tee time today will begin at 7:30 AM tomorrow as well.
10:15 AM- Round 1 Afternoon Tee Times Begins (PAIRINGS) – you will be teeing off 2 hours and 15 minutes earlier than your original Round 1 tee time.
4:15 PM (approx.) – Awards Presentation for GIRLS division after 18 holes
After round 1 has been complete, we will make the cut to the Top 60 and ties for the BOYS Division. Friday’s pairings will be sent out immediately after play finishes tomorrow.
11:26AM (7/12/17): Due to more inclement weather coming this afternoon and the course not being playable at this time, play has been suspended for the rest of the day. There will be another email sent out later today with more information regarding the rest of the tournament.
10:15AM (7/12/17): Due to more inclement weather in the area, we are going to continue to delay play. Another update will be sent out at 11:15 AM. This is a nationally recognized event so we are making every effort to complete as many holes as possible. If you are playing in the afternoon wave, please add 1 hour and 30 minutes to your original tee time.
9:51AM (7/12/17): We are currently under a weather delay for the IJGA-CDGA Junior Amateur. Play was suspended at 9:30 AM. We will send another update at 10:15 AM. If you are playing in the afternoon wave, we will send out a tee time update at that time as well.
