NORMAL, Ill. – The Mid-American Junior Golf Tour’s Classic at Illinois State concluded Tuesday with three champions named. In the Boys Division, Dallas Koth (2018) of Bloomington, Ill., took top honors. The champion in the Girls Division was Hannah Kilbane (2019) of Orland Park, Ill., and the College Division champion was Rylie Loux.

The Classic at Illinois State was a 36 hole, stroke play competition contested on the Weibring Golf Club in Normal, Ill. The field featured 49 golfers ages 12-22. The Boys Division played the course as a par 71 from 6,915 yards, while the Girls and College Divisions played the course as a par 72 from 6,242 yards.

The MAJGT is designed for exceptionally talented junior golfers throughout the Midwest ages 12-18 and is nationally recognized by the Junior Golf Scoreboard and American Junior Golf Association with all of its events providing national exposure.

Koth carded a two-day total of 3-over-par 145, which included an even-par 71 during the first round. His second-round scorecard included three birdies and nine pars. This is Koth’s second MAJGT victory, his first coming at the 2016 MAJGT Championship at the Den.

Coming in second place was Kevin Andjulis (2018) of Elk Grove Village, Ill., who finished the event at 5-over-par 147. In third was Mohan Raval (2018) of Orland Hills, Ill., who carded an 8-over-par 150 tournament total. Brian Sterling (2019) of Mokena, Ill., finished in fourth place with a tournament total of 11-over-par 153.

In the Girls Division, Kilbane carded a two-day total of 1-over-par 145 to take top honors. Her opening round of 1-under-par 71 gave her an early lead, which she held onto going into the second day, carding a 1-over-par 74.

Coming in runner-up in the Girls Division was Adrienne Rohwedder (2019) of Prospect Heights, Ill., who carded a two-day total of 8-over-par 152. Rounding out the top 3 was Emilyee McGiles (2017) of Orland Hills, Ill., who carded a tournament total of 10-over-par 154.

In the College Division, Loux carded a two-day total of 12-over-par 156 to take top honors.
