Starting in 2019, the Field Determination Policy is no longer in effect. This means that all Mid-American Junior Golf Tour tournaments are first come, first served.

How is this different from previous years? In past years, players were placed in a “Pending Pool” after the first percentage of the field was filled. The “Pending Pool” was then ordered based on the player’s Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranking (JGS Rankings). The next round of players was added a month out from the event and the final percentage of the field was added two weeks out from the event.

The Field Determination Policy has been removed to help eliminate the uncertainty on whether or not a player would earn a spot in the field. This means if you are interested in playing in a Spring MAJGT event we highly recommend registering early to guarantee you have a spot in the field and are not placed on a waiting list.

Tournament registration for MAJGT events begins at 10:00 A.M. CST on February 6, 2019.

As a reminder, you are able to play in one (1) MAJGT event as a non-member, meaning you are not an ELITE or MAJGT member. When registering as a non-member select “non-member” during the registration process to ensure a smooth processing of your tournament registration. If you want to play in more than one (1) MAJGT event you will need to become a MAJGT Access Member or upgrade to ELITE Access.
